Jazz at the Barn is produced by Vince Scuderi, Huntington resident, seasoned jazz musician, and bandleader. Since its founding, the series has welcomed a diverse lineup of celebrated performers, including Grammy-nominated musicians Lewis Porter, Ralph Lalama, Ron Jackson, and Joe Lovano, as well as innovative contemporary artists such as Dominic Duval, Gilad Hekselman, and Yvonnick Prene.

“Our goal has always been to create an accessible space for jazz on Long Island—where audiences can hear legendary artists up close and discover fresh new voices,” says Scuderi.

Jazz at the Barn began in April 2024 with funding from The New York State Council on the Arts via a Statewide Community Regrant administered by Huntington Arts Council.

After it’s initial success, with encouragement and support from the Huntington Historical Society, Jazz at the Barn has continued as a grassroots initiative. Supported exclusively by generous sponsorships and ticket sales, we invite both established and emerging jazz artists to the Long Island community, providing affordable live concert performances for all. The unique venue, built in 1830, creates an intimate experience where world class musicians can showcase their music and connect with the audience.

Produced by seasoned jazz musician, bandleader and Huntington resident, Vince Scuderi, the Barn has hosted Grammy nominated musicians such as Lewis Porter, Ralph Lalama, Ron Jackson and Joe Lovano. The series has also featured contemporary artists such as bassist Dominic Duval, guitarist Gilad Heckselman, harmonica virtuoso Yvonnick Prene and more.
